Article 1 (Purpose and scope)
These terms set the conditions of use for the software and licence sales operated by BeGreen ("the Company"), and the rights and obligations of the Company and the user. Matters not covered here follow applicable law and commercial practice.

Article 3 (What the licence grants)
By paying and receiving a licence key, the user obtains a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the product within the following limits.
- Term — perpetual for a one-time purchase. This is not a subscription.
- Machines — set per product; every product currently sold allows 2 simultaneous activations.
- Who may use it — the individual or company that bought the licence. The key may not be shared with third parties.
The Company retains ownership and all intellectual property rights in the software; they are not transferred to the user.
Article 4 (Activation and revalidation)
- The product is activated on an installed machine with the licence key. A device identifier hash is generated and sent so machines can be told apart; the underlying hardware information is not sent.
- Activation is revalidated automatically every 30 days. That interval is also the offline grace period.
- An activation slot with no revalidation signal for 90 days is reclaimed automatically when a new activation is requested. This exists so that a replaced logic board or a reinstalled OS — which changes the device identifier — does not require contacting us.
- More than 3 deactivation requests within 30 days are rate-limited.
- To release a machine, write to support@begreen.dev.
Article 5 (Prohibited acts)
- Sharing, lending, reselling, or publicly posting a licence key
- Copying, distributing, modifying, or creating derivative works of the software, except where the law expressly permits it
- Bypassing or disabling licence verification, and reverse engineering, except for interoperability as permitted by article 101-4 of the Korean Copyright Act
- Interfering with the normal operation of the service
If a violation is confirmed, the Company may suspend or void the licence, and in that case the payment is not refunded.
Article 6 (Free periods)
The Company may distribute a product free of charge during a beta period. No payment is made during a free period, so nothing is refundable, and the Company may end the free period and move to paid sales after giving notice. Users who used the product free before that transition are not charged retroactively.
Article 7 (Changes to and discontinuation of the service)
The Company may improve or change the product's features. Material changes that disadvantage users are announced on this page or by email at least 30 days in advance. If the Company permanently discontinues the licence verification service, it will first arrange for already-issued licences to keep working without verification.
Article 8 (Disclaimer and limitation of liability)
The software is provided "as is" and the Company does not warrant fitness for a particular purpose. This does not apply to damage caused by the Company's intent or gross negligence.
Except where the law provides otherwise, the Company's liability is limited to the amount the user paid. This clause does not limit a consumer's statutory rights.
Article 9 (Amendments)
The Company may amend these terms. Amendments are announced on this page, stating the effective date and the reason, at least 7 days beforehand — or 30 days beforehand if the amendment disadvantages users.
Article 10 (Governing law and jurisdiction)
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea. Disputes between the Company and a user are brought before the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
For international purchases, Paddle.com Market Ltd sells as merchant of record and Paddle's buyer terms govern the transaction itself; the licence grant above still governs use of the software.
